To encourage the Micro and Small Enterprises, DRDO has subsidized the cost of certification for its vendors (micro & small, as per the new definition under the MSED Act, 2006), as under:

• Micro enterprise: 80 % subsidy on the certification fee;
• Small enterprise 50 % subsidy on the certification fee.
